Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, As a life long member of the United Church of Christ, I I grew up attending church every Sunday, went to UCC summer camps and eventually affiliated colleges. I graduated from Heidelberg University (Tiffin, Ohio) in 2013 During my summers in-between school and landscaping, I spent 6 summers on staff of UCC summer camps. While on staff in 2014, at the DuBois Center, I met my wife Caeligh. I received my Master’s of Divinity from Eden Theological Seminary (Webster Groves, MO) in 2016.
Upon graduating from seminary, I spent three months with Lutheran Senior Services completing a summer chaplaincy program at their Laclede Groves retirement community.
In August of 2016, Caeligh and I packed up all we had and moved to Broadus Montana. A small town of less that 500 people in south eastern Montana. There I would begin my professional ministry. For nearly five years I served the UCC church and community there.
Since arriving in Union in 2021, my wife and I have welcomed our two kids, Nora and Owen, into the world. When I am not pastoring, I stay busy with the kids, my garden, video games, and have recently gotten into photography.
