Learn more about our church ministry offerings and how you can get involved at Zion.

We have a Chancel Choir, a Bell Choir (Zion Ringers), and a youth choir (Joyful Noise) Zion Fellowship: A monthly-ish time of extended fellowship, creating opportunities to share meals, get to know one another, and enjoy fun opportunities.

On the first two Wednesday’s of the month during the program year (Labor Day through Memorial Day) Our youth have a games, Bible Stories, crafts, and music. Followed by a family style meal.

This ministry provides assistance to people in need to help with utility shut-offs, evictions, and homelessness.

Educates and inspires our congregation to a better stewardship of creation, they plant trees and recycle and do cleanups within the larger community.

This ministry crafts prayer shawls and lap robes to be given to people in need of physical and spiritual comfort. These beautiful pieces are delivered to extended care facilities to be distributed to residents and are available upon request through our church office for anyone who needs one.

Weekly hand quilting which often offers them for other ministries’ fundraisers such as the one they donate each year to the Emmaus Home Fall Festival.

Member-made and donated freezer meals ready to share with friends and members of the church.

We support this independent agency both through on-going food drives and through seasonal projects like our Souper Bowl of Caring and the Lenten Labyrinth.

In addition, our congregation provides meeting space for a variety of community groups such as:

  • AA (local and regional meetings)
  • Al-anon
  • Girl Scouts/Brownies
  • Health & Wellness program through the University of Missouri Extension Office
